The internet is down on a Sunday morning
Scripture, slides, media and your licence all resolve locally. A dropped connection should not be the difference between a service running and a blank screen.
Last checked
A whole service runs offline. The Bible ships inside the app and is stored on the machine, media files live on disk, and slides are local — none of it waits on a network round-trip.
What still works with no connection
- Every slide, song and scripture passage in your service.
- All screen outputs, including the stage display.
- The phone remote, via the app's own hotspot.
- Your licence, for the duration of its existing validation window.
What needs a connection
- Signing in for the first time on a new machine.
- Renewing a licence that has passed its validation window.
- Syncing changes between machines.
- Downloading updates — though these install on quit, never mid-service.
Licence checks validate against verified network time rather than the system clock, so moving the machine's date forward does not extend an offline window. If a licence has genuinely lapsed you will need to get the machine online briefly.
