Give each screen its own layout

Main projection, the band's stage display and a lobby feed are different jobs. Each output gets its own layout rather than a mirrored copy.

Most presentation software mirrors one output everywhere. ChristChant drives each screen independently, because the screens in your building are not showing the same thing to the same people.

  • Main projection — lyrics and scripture for the congregation.
  • Stage display — the band's view: chords, the next line, and a countdown.
  • Confidence monitor — what the speaker needs, which is rarely what the room needs.
  • Lobby — a different feed again, often a countdown or announcements.

Setting an output up

  1. Open Settings, then Screens. Every display Windows reports is listed.
  2. Assign a role to each one — main, stage, confidence or custom.
  3. Choose a layout per role. Changing the stage layout does not touch the main screen.
  4. Save. Assignments persist, so the next service opens with the same setup.

The stage screen and additional custom outputs unlock on a paid plan. The main output works on every plan, including Free.
