Pair a phone as the remote
Advance slides from anywhere in the room — over your network, or over the app's own hotspot when there is no Wi-Fi.

The mobile app is both a slide remote and a full offline Bible. Pairing takes a few seconds and does not require an account on the phone.
Pairing over your network
- On the desktop, open Remote. A QR code and a numeric PIN appear.
- Open the ChristChant app on the phone and scan the code, or type the PIN.
- The phone shows the current and next slide once it connects.
When there is no Wi-Fi
Church networks are unreliable and guest Wi-Fi often isolates clients from each other, which blocks pairing even when both devices are online. ChristChant can broadcast its own hotspot instead: turn it on from the same Remote panel and join it from the phone. The two devices then talk directly, with no router involved.
If the connection drops mid-service the desktop keeps presenting. The remote is a convenience, never a dependency.
